COP 16 March for Life & Climate Justice

The March for Life & Climate Justice started at La Via Campesina in Cancún and worked it's way to the 0km mark by the Hotel Zone to honor Lee Hun Kae the Korean farmer who committed suicide at the police barricades during the Cancun WTO protests in 2003. Along the way people from all over the world spoke of the lie of green capitalism and in support of indigenous rights and solutions to climate change.

Τα πρώτα τέτοια party έγιναν στο Άλσος Βείκου το Φεβρουάριο του 1992 και στην Πολυτεχνειούπολη το Μάιο του 1993 ενώ ακολούθησαν καραβάνια με γιορτές σε παραλίες, βουνά, κεντρικές πλατείες, πάρκα και λεωφόρους. Από τότε που όλα αυτά ξεκίνησαν ως σήμερα πολλά έχουν αλλάξει τόσο στον χώρο των parties όσο και στην κοινωνία γενικότερα. Αυτό που μας ενδιαφέρει σε αυτό το κείμενο είναι να παρουσιάσουμε τα βασικά κίνητρά μας για τη διοργάνωση party καθώς και την οπτική μας για τη δυναμική, που κατά την άποψή μας, αυτά πιθανόν να διαθέτουν μέσα σε ένα ευρύτερο πλαίσιο ριζοσπαστικής σκέψης και δράσης.
